Michel and Lalo have been with The Refuge since 2015. They love serving at The Refuge because it's so much like family. They live and serve on site with their daughter Katherine. They have a heart to help kids here in Tijuana and what they are most passionate about is being a parent to those who are without their parents. They love being role models not just parents for the kids at The Refuge. Family life is more than just fun and games but it's in the discipline, the teaching, homework, cooking, late night talks, and so much more.
Last year Lalo's twin brother Chava joined us as well in caring for the kids. Together as family, they are showing the kids at the Refuge what healing, growth, sacrifice, and achieving your goals looks like
